IPSOGEN acquires exclusive rights from PGDx for new biomarkers - mutations of the IDH1 and IDH2 genes - which play a role in brain cancers, acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and other malignancies

IPSOGEN SA (Alternext: ALIPS), a majority-owned subsidiary of QIAGEN N.V. (Nasdaq: QGEN / Frankfurt, Prime Standard: QIA), today announced the acquisition of worldwide exclusive rights to testing for mutations of the IDH1 and IDH2 genes for diagnostic purposes from Personal Genome Diagnostics Inc, Baltimore, Maryland (PGDx).
